Practice Timer+ Privacy Policy
Effective October 4, 2026
Practice Timer+ (“the app”) is made by Robby Burns +Friends. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. The short version: the app does not collect any data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Information we collect
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not run any servers that receive information from the app, and we cannot see your practice goals, practice history, settings or any other information you enter.
Information stored on your device
To work, the app saves the following only on your device:
- Your practice goals, practice history and timer settings.
- Which apps you chose to block during practice (Pro). Apple’s Screen Time system gives the app anonymous tokens for these apps; the app cannot see which apps they are, and the tokens never leave your device.
- Your Practice Focus and app icon preferences.
Deleting the app deletes this information. If your device is backed up to iCloud or a computer, this information may be included in that backup, which is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.
Features that use Apple services
- App blocking (Screen Time). Uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks with your permission. No usage data, browsing history or app lists are collected or shared.
- Practice Focus. The app runs a Shortcut on your device to turn your Focus on and off. Nothing is sent to us.
- Lock Screen countdown (Live Activities) and notifications are created on your device. The app does not use push notification servers.
- Purchases. Buying the app or Practice Timer+ Pro is handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your name, Apple Account or payment information.
Sharing your data
We do not sell, share or transfer any information, because we do not collect any. If you choose to export your practice history as a CSV file, you decide where that file goes (for example, Files, Mail or Messages). Once shared, it is handled by the app or person you shared it with.
Crash reports
If you have turned on “Share With App Developers” in your device’s Analytics settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Children
The app is suitable for students of all ages. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
